Tyna

She began her career in personal training, studying Kinesiology and Holistic Nutrition, later expanding into yoga, qigong, trauma-informed breathwork and functional breathing for optimizing health, strength and endurance. 

This diverse training allows her to design workouts that not only build strength and fitness but also improve breathing, posture, and recovery.

 Her personal journey overcoming chronic health challenges gives her a unique understanding of the body’s capacity to heal and adapt. She specializes in helping clients increase energy – strength and endurance, reduce stress, improve mobility, and build sustainable habits that support long-term health.

Tyna enjoys working with people of all ages and fitness levels including supporting seniors and those looking to regain confidence in their bodies. Her approach is both motivating and compassionate, blending science-based training with mindful breathing techniques to help clients feel stronger, healthier, and more connected in their daily lives.

 

Tyna is a certified Personal Trainer and Buteyko Breathing Instructor with a strong background in functional movement, breathwork, and holistic health.

Sarah

Sarah is a certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition and Mindset Coach, and the founder of SOMA Strength, a coaching approach rooted in whole-person health. She believes that effective training should support not only the physical body, but also nutrition, mindset, and the nervous system, recognizing that these elements work together to shape long-term health and resilience.

With a background in competitive and professional sport, Sarah brings a high-performance lens to personal training while remaining grounded in real-world sustainability. Her experience as a yoga instructor further shapes her work, allowing her to integrate strength, mobility, and body awareness to create well-rounded, efficient, and resilient movement.

Sarah’s coaching is informed by a lifetime of diverse training, education, and personal experience. Her academic background in lifespan development and counselling shapes her client-centred approach, helping her meet individuals where they are across different stages of life. Living with Crohn’s disease has also deepened her understanding of the body, recovery, and nutrition, reinforcing the importance of individualized, adaptable training.

Through SOMA Strength, Sarah practices an integrative health approach, combining strength training, mobility, nutrition, mindset, and lifestyle factors to support sustainable progress and long-term wellbeing. Her work emphasizes building durable strength, self-awareness, and confidence that extend beyond the gym and into everyday life.
